What is ChatSEO and how does it work?

What ChatSEO does, how to get started, and what its SEO agents are for.

ChatSEO is an SEO assistant that analyses your site, interprets your data and writes your content, through a plain conversation, as you would with a consultant.

How it works

  1. You connect your site and your data. Link your Google Search Console, and Google Analytics if you are on Pro or Ranker, so ChatSEO works from your real data.
  2. You ask your questions. Describe what you need in plain language: the right agent handles it and explains its findings.
  3. You generate content. The writing agent produces optimised articles you can publish straight to WordPress or Shopify.

What ChatSEO can do

Twelve playbooks cover the core of the job: SEO strategy, keyword research, performance analysis, competitor analysis, on-page optimization, internal linking, backlink analysis, indexation audit, structured data, local SEO, GEO (getting cited by AI) and NinjaLinking.

Behind them, specialised agents split the work: SEO data (keywords, SERP, competitors, backlinks), Search Console, Google Analytics, sitemap, web analysis, writing, document creation and CMS publishing.

You do not have to pick one: describe what you need and ChatSEO routes it.

Reading the results

Every analysis comes with findings and concrete recommendations. If something is unclear, ask a follow-up in the conversation and the agent explains it in plain terms.

What ChatSEO does not do

  • No AI citation tracking. ChatSEO does not monitor answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Claude, and does not measure how often your site gets cited there (no "prompt tracking"). The GEO playbook helps you work on your visibility in those answers, it does not track it over time.
  • No sales prospecting. ChatSEO does not find leads for you or send outreach emails.
  • No mobile app promotion. ChatSEO works on a website's ranking in Google, not on an app's visibility in the App Store or Google Play.
  • No marketplace publishing. ChatSEO does not publish to Etsy, Amazon or any other marketplace. It publishes to the CMSs it can connect: see connecting ChatSEO to WordPress.
